Founding Day Fashion Design
The design for the Foundation Day Operette cloths drew inspiration from the diverse culture, rich in traditions, climates, and social elements of the Kingdom. Performers wore warm earthy colours, featuring design elements based on the Foundation Day logo. In particular, five symbols were integrated into the logo to emphasize the synergy and flow between the regions of the Kingdom: the flag, dates (representing growth and generosity), Majlis (signifying unity and harmony), Arabian horse (acknowledging equestrianism and courage), and a market (highlighting economic strength and openness to the world). Additionally, a man symbol symbolizes the heroism of the Saudis, Palm tree corresponding to life and giving, Falcon upholding the culture and traditions of past generations, and the code phrase 1727 alluding to pride, interdependence, and the establishment of the first Saudi state.
