Traditional Attire – Falcons Night

Being part of the Saudi National Team World Cup Qualification Ceremony is a momentous and humbling experience. Designing the traditional Saudi attire with gold embroidered falcons as our inspiration allowed us to share with the world our passion and culture. Each “Dakla” is carefully made to complement the performer while creating a unique dress.

The falcon forms part of our social tradition passed from generation to generation, which demonstrates respect for nature and the environment and gives us a sense of belonging, continuity, and identity.

• Performing at the Saudi National Team World Cup Qualification Ceremony, Rabeh Sager is seen wearing a dark green “Dakla” with gold embroidered cuffs, hem, and a majestic off-the-shoulder falcon. Details of the wing are carefully placed around the shoulder depicting strength and unity.
• Majed Al Mohandes performs at the Saudi National Team World Cup Qualification Ceremony wearing a dark green “Dakla” with a silver blazon falcon embroidered across the front of his chest stretched over his shoulders. Cuffs, hem and collar are decorated with gold designs portrayed from our Saudi heritage.
• Ayedh performs at the Saudi National Team World Cup Qualification Ceremony wearing a magnificent “Dakla” in white with gold tubing and decorative cuffs inspired by the National Saudi Football team logo, hem and collar. The golden falcon strikingly embossed on the front of the outfit compliments the white while creating a regal attire.
