Al Diriyah Season Stage
The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) designed Diriyah into the largest cultural and heritage attraction in the world as part of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. Visitors can participate in and enjoy a wide range of experiences at Diriyah’s diversified array of attractions, which range from commemorating the achievements of the Kingdom’s leaders to reliving the area’s past and interacting with contemporary artistic expressions.
The Al Dirriyah stage was in the center of the Al-Shalhoub farm in Diriyah, one of the most famous palm plantations where the oasis was constructed. The stage’s design took inspiration from the palm tree, a key element in Saudi culture and UNESCO registered, that forms an intangible part of the Kingdom’s heritage and reflects the value of generosity in Saudi society. The landscape used natural elements as authentic accessories, such as ancient pottery, palm leaves, and a magnificent lighted palm tree that commanded every visitor’s attention as the impressive floor motif centerpiece.
